Another stock Veeram Securities will go ex-split today. This stock will split from face value of Rs 10 to face value of Rs 2. The record date is April 19. This company had in April 2020 issued bonus shares in a 13: 10 ratio.
In a stock split, existing shares split but the underlying value remains the same. As the number of shares increases, the price per share goes down.
